Haruko is a Mizuhiki art designer based in Dublin.
Mizuhiki is a Japanese traditional paper string craft. It's most commonly used to decorate envelopes, which are given as gifts during holidays like the Japanese New Year or for special occasions such as births and weddings. The colour of the cord depends on the occasion. Haruko would like to combine in her work the Celtic knotwork and the Japanese traditional technique of knot tying.
